I am fortunate enough to have 2 basil varieties growing in herb garden 2. The above picture is the sweet basil. This is great for eating raw on brushetta or in salad. There are many other recipes that it can be used for too. I have included a link to give you some additional recipe ideas. The below picture is the perennial basil. This has a much stronger flavor and is best used in cooking.
