The progerss of herb gardens 1 and 2

It's funny how things work. Herb garden 2 was planted 1 day later than herb garden 1 and it is doing so much better. It is most likely that the plants are happier in their environment. I have been rotating them to make sure they both receive even amounts of light.

Here is a close up picture of herb garden 2. It looks so lush and full. I feel very pleased at how it is progressing. Taking into account it was only planted 24 days ago it is a huge success.

Herb garden 1 is a little slower to flourish. The mini tomato is unfortunately dead. This has been removed. I went back to the nursery and its brother and sister mini tomatoes looked a little worse for wear too. I think when it was planted it had already peaked. You can see the space in the middle where the tomato used to live. Any ideas for a replacement would be appreciated.
